Paying Attention to the Big Picture

If you follow the elephant, you never get entangled in the forest. Nigerian Proverb

Interpretation

This proverb is telling us to always pay attention to the big picture of any endeavor that we take. If we don't pay attention to the big picture, we can easily get confused and entangled in little details. The big picture should provide a path guiding us through the endeavor.
